National Governing Bodies (NGBs)
County sports partnerships have always played a key role in helping national governing bodies work with local partners make the most of local opportunities.
With this in mind, Sport England has funded all 49 CSPs to provide a consistent set of services to support NGBs to deliver 09-13 plans at a local level.
1. Sport England Status
Sport England assign a status of red, amber or green to each NGB which is reviewed constantly. Once green. the engagement process with CSPs can then begin. Please see the Sport England website for further information.
2. Sub Regional Engagement
Within London, the 5 PRO-ACTIVE partnerships have taken a coordinated approach to engaging with NGBs.
Each NGB has been assigned a lead PRO-ACTIVE who will discuss a pan London approach before individual sub regional Borough engagement takes place.
3. The Engagement Tracker
PRO-ACTIVE East London have created an Engagement Tracker which will help chart delivery progress on both a sports specific and Borough level.
The tracker will be updated every two weeks and will contain all national notes, regional notes where complete and any sub regional communication or delivery information. The tracker can be accessed by all sub regional partners.

4. NGB Progress Reports
Sport England are investing £480 million through 46 governing bodies over the next four years and have agreed grow, sustain and excel targets with each one. Each sport has devleoped a whole sport plan that explains how it will use this money to achieve these targets.

5. PRO-ACTIVE London's offer to National Governing Bodies
The PRO-ACTIVEs across London have pulled together a document which outlines how cross sport services will be delivered to meet National Governing Body priorities and specific services for Sport England.
